Released in 1975, ‘The Big Ship‘ is one of the most compelling instrumental tracks from Brian Eno.
The track is a cut from Eno’s third studio album ‘Another Green World’, and now 41-years on is still one of the most emotive and thought provoking pieces of music in his catalogue.
This gem of a tune can be heard in the film ‘Me And Earl And The Dying Girl‘, which was released in 2015, closing in on half a decade after the songs initial release. If you know the film, then you know the scene I am talking about and can back me up on the fact that it is perfect.
