Pharrell Williams Just Performed The Weirdest Cover of ‘Happy’ At The Grammys

Introduced by The Weeknd, performed in a bell boy hat and cameo’s from pianist Lang Lang and Hans Zimmer and you’ve probably got the most tripped out version of “Happy” ever.

That’s what went down at The Grammys a few hours ago with the Daft Punk collaborator going full YOLO with the updated take that included a spoken word intro – “im a hot air balloon that could go to space”.

If you remember he actually performed at last years awards with the robots in full disguise as well as Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder with a stirring rendition of “Get Lucky” that stirred up the rumour mills of Daft Punk touring sometime soon.

Other dance-grammy news comes from Aphex Twin who took out ‘Best Dance/Electronic Album’ with the oddball ‘Spyro’ release.

Pharrell always proving that shorts are an all seasons thing…
