Aphex Twin has stunned the world by taking out this years ‘Best Dance/Electronic Album’ at the Grammys with his latest release ‘Syro’ on Warp Records.

‘Syro’ was an oddball release and for it edge out full lengths from Deadmau5, Matt Zo, Little Dragon and Royksopp & Robyn is a huge sign of the times when it comes to dance and electronic music consumption and perception.

The record was the first in over 12 years for Aphex Twin real name Richard D James but hasn’t stopped him uploading a flood of new tracks to his Soundcloud that were probably offcuts from the final release.
