Turbo label owner Tiga has told Time Out New York in a recent interview there are early plans for a new album following on from the success of 2009’s ‘Ciao’ and 2006’s ‘Sexor’.
“… it’s started. I haven’t hit that critical mass yet, where I know exactly where it’s going. But I do have a bunch of songs written, and it’s going pretty well.” adding “There’s a target to have it finished in the (European) summer, and I’ve taken some time off touring in order to make that happen.”
It won’t be all Tiga though with his most recent single “Trust Your Body” including long time collaborator Jori Hulkkonen that’ll probably featuring on the LP as well as “a long list of collaborators, some of them real and some potential”
Tiga also added a more candid insight into the whole Miami/Ibiza obsession saying “I’ve never really camped out at those places like some people. I had actually stopped going to Miami, and now I’ve started going again” further clarifying the importance of those events “But Miami usually ends up being fun, and I do think it’s important for the label to have a night there.”
Tough life senor Tiga, tough life indeed!
