After it’s recent inception this February, Newtown’s Something Else Record Store has unveiled a brand new event designed to give aspiring female, trans and non-binary producers their head start.
Whether you’re keen to produce, DJ or run events, this Q&A sesh is ideal for anyone who wants to get their music career afloat. With a panel of industry professionals, this event will be sure to help producers well on their way to developing their very own set of skills.
The first instalment of the event will feature the multitalented club veteran Trinity, who has been DJing, producing and promoting for over 15 years, pushing futuristic synthetic sounds from Sydney to Berlin, in addition to releasing on a myriad of techno labels worldwide. As a DJ, her diverse selection of house and techno has seen her gain a significant following in Germany and beyond.
The panel will also include Kate Doherty, an exceptionally gifted DJ whose music selection transcends across a variety of different styles including House, Techno and Hip-Hop, and Jess Gilliand, the brains behind LUVTHANG.
