Montell2099 is really starting to turn heads. After remixing Lorde’s ‘Green Light’ alongside Sachi last month, the NZ based artist has come out with a brand new collaboration with 21 Savage, ‘Hunnid on the Drop’.

The bass-driven cut sees Montell strip things back, allowing the Atlanta rapper’s chilling vocal style to dominate. With that said, the haunting instrumental gestures shine through on this release, using the heavy bass line as the foundation to bounce off.

‘Hunnid on the Drop’ follows Montell2099’s recent performance alongside 21 at Red Bull Sound Select in LA, a venture that we believe is just the beginning of a huge rush of momentum for the NZ producer. It’s going to be exciting to se where he goes from here.
