After a whole bunch of excellent parties earlier this year at Sydney’s National Art School grounds, Astral People are back today with their highly anticipated first Summer Dance announcement. Last week they teased us with news that it’d be coming back – no surprise considering how well it’s gone down before – and today they’ve given us all the goods.
Teaming up with FBi Click, V Movement and THUMP, 2017’s round of Summer Dance shows will kick off on Sunday the 22nd of January at the usual haunt, NAS. The lineup is kicking the shows well and truly into gear too, with lo-fi UK lord Palms Trax on headline duties. Our own rising star Roland Tings is fresh off the back of U.S. tours with both Chrome Sparks and RÜFUS, and will be selecting alongside off-centre Swedish wizard Kornél Kovács. FBi’s own Andy Garvey and Lauren Hansom will be there too, bringing some local flavour that no one can get enough of.
Suffice to say, it’s set to be a pretty large first round. Tickets are only 40 bucks, and as with all Summer Dance shows, that’s some serious bang for your buck. Suss the Facebook event here, listen out to FBi Click for the next Summer Dance announce, and get ready for some serious fun in the sun.
