New York’s Mister Sunday to make Sydney debut this month

For almost a decade, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin’s acclaimed club night and label Mister Saturday Night has steadily gained a reputation for fostering a community of New York’s quirky DJ’s and musicians. For the first time since it’s establishment, the DJ duo’s daytime party Mister Sunday will make it’s debut in Sydney.

Hosted by Astral People and Cake Wines, the party will function much like it does in New York, with DJ sets from Harkin and Carter themselves, taking place in an outdoor location in the inner city. The event is anticipated to take place in an intimate setting, with a sound system set up in a large green expanse likened to a back yard, with the duo’s signature style of playful four to the floor grooves setting the mood from 1pm to 8pm.

Eamon and Justin spoke on the event, saying “We’ll be doing it just how we do back home: a four-point sound system, good vibes, a cell-phone-free dance floor and tunes from Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter from beginning to end.”

Catch Eamon Harkin & Justin Carter at a secret location for Mister Sunday on the 25th of February from 1pm to 8pm.
