Aussie up-start creates headphones that scan your ears for optimum listening experience

Have you ever wanted more from your headphones? Let’s face it, finding the perfect headphones for a decent price is a tall task, however there are a group of Aussie’s that are trying to create the perfect, intelligent headphone.

Nura is an Australian up-start that aims take the next step further in headphone technology, creating the first headphone that scans your ears and delivers the perfect sound for you.

How does it work? The headphones have tiny microphones inside the earpieces that pick up vibrations from the hairs inside the cochlea when they respond to sound. Nura’s technology uses these vibrations to then alter the sound to enhance the listening experience for the individual, taking about 60 seconds from when you put the headphone son until you have a personalised sound emitting into your ears.

Basically, they have a chat to your ears, your ears tell them how they like listening to songs, then the headphones do that. It’s genius!

The Melbourne based Kickstarter is well into their campaign, with 59 days remaining despite already reaching their goal of $100,000. The headphones currently go for a starting price of $179 dollars, and are expected to be complete by April 2017.
