While we’re still hanging out for the anticipated follow up album from the Canadian indie-dance cutie Grimes she’s actually been writing music for a popstar that was sadly rejected by management – bummer.
It’s not all bad news with Grimes tipping off Twitter fans that she’d be playing a couple ‘special & top secret & new’ tracks at Governors Ball music fest in New York over the weekend that included one she wrote with Blood Diamonds for Rihanna.
also for those at gov ball, u should stick around for my final song because its special & top secret & new, actually im playin 3 new songs

The best bit? Fans boys/girls with a knack for capturing EVERYTHING and uploading it to the internet, or instagram in this case with a short video capturing the different cut, dubbed “Go” and sounding more dancey then we’ve ever heard before – essentially what you’d expect to hear when Blood Diamonds gets involved.
After the show the pair tweeted back and forth about the possibility of releasing the thing officially which would be a perfect run up to her second album due out on Jay-Zs Roc Nation label.
Who can’t wait to hear this one in full?
@BLOOD_DIAMOND5 went off haha, we gotta make this video asap so a real version can exist
