Update: Daft Punk present ‘Best Female Video’ award (photos)

Daft Punk have confirmed the rumours and turned up to the MTV VMA awards making an appearance on the red carpet. The duo are expected to perform alongside Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams slamming out their number one hit ‘Get Lucky’ from their latest album ‘Random Access Memories’.

Their first official performance appearance comes after their controversial cancellation to their proposed spot on The Colbert Report two weeks ago.

Fellow dance stars Zedd and Nervo Twins are all reported to be performing sometime through the night with Grimes holding down the red carpet.
