WATCH: Tensnake – Mainline (featuring Syron)

Tensnake (aka Marco Niemerski) has created an instant classic with “Mainline“, hearkening back to the “good old days” of timeless house anthems. The official video is also delightfully “retro-fresh,” featuring the styles, effects, and palette of upbeat 80s boogie – complete with fun geometrics and colorful flour. Not to mention, Syron delivers the vocals in powerful, heavenly form. Tensnake is a Hamburg-based producer and label-head of Mirau Musik, also lauded for his 2010 hit “Coma Cat.” This is Tensnake’s tribute to the 1979 disco classic “Mainline” by Black Ivory.

It’s due for release on Defected Records November 5th, but you probably also heard it in the KILLER Magic Mix 26 recently from The Magician, and if for some unimaginable reason you haven’t listened to that yet, do yourself a favor and check it out immediately!
