When your evening’s ingredients include one of Australia’s most exquisite club venues matched with one of the most popular names in Hip-Hop today, you’re going to have a good time, and we have the photos to prove it!
Sydney’s Marquee nightclub was home to the official A$AP Rocky after party on Friday night, an event that saw a combination of the celebrity and the die-hard fan flood throughout the capacity venue. A$AP and his troops were a highly anticipated attendance, and it wasn’t until roughly 2:30am we were graced with his presence, but you can rest assured the atmosphere wasn’t tainted by his delayed arrival.
You can’t help but feel a little star struck when you find yourself in close proximity with someone like A$AP, and clearly I wasn’t the only person feeling it, with the abundance of girlish squeals (which I may have helped provide) that echoed throughout the crowd when that Pretty Mother F*#ker came down to the dance floor to say hello.
At that point, I was struggling to hear myself think and loving every bit of it.
For those of you who haven’t ventured to the Marquee before, no adequate description I dribble out will manage to suffice, because this venue is just simply amazing, and on arrival you’ll likely be lost for words for a good half an hour. I’m unsure if it were the multitudes of half-naked dancers decorating the area, the exquisite sound system that succeeded in rattling every bone in your body, or simply knowing that A$AP Rocky was in arms length of yourself that maintained my captivation throughout the evening, but I can safely say – with the certain support of anyone else who attended- that this party was one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of shin-digs.
For those who didn’t manage to experience this utterly insane event, I must stress that you bloody missed out, and you will probably lose sleep over it for weeks and for good reason too. However, we did manage to capture a few awesome flicks, so before you beat yourself up over missing out, have a scroll through our photos and gather a taste of what it was like!
