The year was 2008, and the hip-hop and electronic music worlds were starting their long, loving relationship.
One of the artists at the forefront of this musical merger was Kid Cudi, whose popular release Day ‘n’ Nite received a high energy rework from bloghaus icons Crookers, turning it into one of the biggest club tracks of the past decade.
The remix was released in January 2009, quickly racing up the charts and into iPods across the globe. The remix was so popular, it even got it’s own official music video, featuring Cudi himself who portrays a bored shop clerk who starts to hallucinate.
