Empire Of The Sun Announce New Album ‘Two Vines’

Empire Of The Sun have a new album on the horizon titled ‘Two Vines‘, and it is dropping this coming October.

The Sydney based duo got fans stirring last week with a suggestive post on Facebook that resulted in an avalanche of hype for some new music from the re-vamped Electronica ambassadors, who have had a stellar 2016 after their debut record ‘Walking On A Dream‘ began circulating in the US eight years after its original release date.

‘Two Vines’ – which was recorded in Hawaii and Los Angeles – will be the band’s third studio album, following 2013’s ‘Ice On The Dune’.

Speaking on the new album, band member Nick Littlemore says “there was an image we talked about very early on with this record, before we wrote the title track, ‘Two Vines,’ and that was this image of a modern city overtaken by jungle, almost like mother nature taking back the planet.”

“All the buildings will turn back to sand. All it will be is nature again. We wanted to make something that reflected the beauty of that, and the wisdom that plants can give us about living harmoniously on this beautiful planet.”

Two Vines is set for a release on October 28 via Astralwerks. and will include a remix of ‘Walking On A Dream’. Get keen! Peep the track list below and revisit a classic.
