A handful of Drones have been used for a large scale light show at the base of Mt. Fuji, Japan.

The jaw-dropping backdrop of Mt. Fuji was illuminated by a synchronised, almost hypnotic array of colours and motion, as the 20 MIDI controlled LED Drones performed for the first  at the heritage listed location.

Along with Shamisens, traditional Japanese guitarists, the Drones created a truly awe-inspiring performance.

The use of Drones for such an even raises the question of whether fireworks will have a place in the near future or if Drones will take over.
