Stoney Roads have teamed up with BKWD to create a series of clothes that blend the influences of our communities love for electronic music mixed with the unique style in design of the Sydney based fashion label.
Having provided clothing for the likes of Alison Wonderland, What So Not, Flume, Nicole Millar, Kilter and more, we spoke to head designer and owner Joe Smith to talk about some of the reasons behind the collaboration.
“Music has been a large factor for Bored Kids Who Draw. We have always taken influence and found motivation from dance music, and have wanted to incorporate this into our design approach. This collaboration with Stoney Roads is our way to utilise our shared love and respect for dance music for our design aesthetic; at a time where dance music in Australia is so prominent.” Founder of BKWD.
