DJ’s hired to fight hate speech with tunes in Philadelphia

Liberty Place Shopping Mall is fighting back against racist protests outside the establishment by hiring DJs to play love-endorsing tunes over the hate speech.

The Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge is a ‘black supremacist’ organisation (an opposite of the KKK if you will), known for their hatred of white people, homosexual people and women – all of whom they curse death upon on the regs.

The group has been preaching hatred outside the Liberty Place and deterring customers from entering the establishment. When managers of the mall attempted to ban the protesters from the sidewalk – they found themselves denied by tha constitution and that old chestnut, freedom of speech (‘MURRCA).

So when the authorities fail – what better way to aggravate the haters then by showin’ some swagger? Each Friday Joe Moser or Eric Pawlicki take to the decks, playing fun and tongue-in-cheek tunes to drown out the bigoted fury of the racists.

As Moser states;

“They say white people are evil, women are evil, Jesus is evil. Anything that is not their beliefs is evil […] I just hope by playing music that is fun and upbeat, we are uplifting people’s spirits even though other more negative things are being shouted at them,”

For example, Pawlicki pumped out Wild Cherry’s ‘Play that Funky Music White Boy’ after members of the fascist group called him ‘white devil’ and ‘white boy’. Later he played Michael Jackson’s love anthem, ‘Black or White’. The duo have also been known to bust out the EDM tunes to build some much needed PLUR in the community.

Genius? We think so. Check the videos below to see the music vs. hate speech fight, we think you’ll find that the power of music shows up the proprietors of hatred for what they are, f*cking assholes.

Which other institutions do you think need a musical kick to the hiney?
