The mystery shrouding dark electronic outfit Leaderboy is slowly revealing itself through a track titled ‘By & By’ that plays out like a dramatic movie to your ears.

Coming off recently releasing an Ed Banger-esque sound clip a matter of weeks ago that was composed to an 80’s (Drew Barrymore as a kid actor) sci fi movie, the outfit doesn’t really give much away in terms of who they are but what we do know is, they are based in Australia. The compiled evidence of their existence lays here.

Combining elements of indie with electro, ‘By and By’ surfs across tempos eventually dropping into a somewhat insatiable distorted 2 minute 30 second 8-bit break down. It’s refreshing to hear something unique and heading in its own direction in comparison to what the dance music scene is delivering. Yes, Leaderboy has entered the building.
