There is a new, 5000 person venue coming to Melbourne

2018 is looking healthy for nightlife, with party throwing legends Novel set to launch B3, a brand new, large-scale event space that has never been used.

This breathtaking and unforgettable venue has convenient access to the Melbourne CBD and a late night license. Not since the infamous Sheds and Public Office parties 10 plus years ago has Melbourne been able to enjoy large-scale, indoor music events in the CBD. Considering the top tier acts that Novel tours, the opening of this new space has the potential to change the face of Australia’s late night events scene as well as putting cementing Melbourne as a global hot spot for electronic music.

“Whether it’s spaces like Caulfield Racecourse or Werribee Mansion, we appreciate the value that exciting and new venues can add to deliver a unique experience” explains Novel Director Daniel Teuma. ‘One aspect sorely lacking in Melbourne’s nightlife is an inner-city location suitable for large-scale, indoor events. We are extremely confident that we have found the right venue to fill that gap.’ To ensure each occasion is truly special, B3 will only host 3 events per year and feature artists who has transcended their respective niches to become full-blown scene icons.’

The sound will be provided by the Full Throttle team who is responsible for overseeing sound at Rainbow Serpent, Subsonic, Let Them Eat Cake, Strawberry Fields and Pitch Music & Arts, while the lighting and installations will be overseen by the Colourblind team (they are behind campaigns for artist like Flight Facilities, Flume and RÜFÜS) alongside John Fish (best known for their recent work withFreedom Time, Melbourne Music Week and Strawberry Fields Festival). With the events being produced and programmed by the founders of Pitch Music & Arts, Days Like This Festival(Sydney) and Let Them Eat Cake, you know what to expect: Impressive production and a highly sought-after list of contemporary artists.
