With Bonobo’s sixth studio album, Migration, being released last Friday, the world has seen one of his most polished works yet.
Now, nearly a week into its release the British artist has shared the visuals behind the cut featuring Australia’s very own Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker).
The video has been described as more of an art piece than a music video – taking subtle cues from iconic films such as Alice in Wonderland & Birdman as its character grows larger inside a Japanese house whose items shrink and expand through time. The video fits perfectly into the themes of transitory relationships between time and place, a common motif throughout the album. Suss the video below and let us know what you think of it!
