Daft Punk right hand man Nile Rodgers who was also behind mega hits for Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and more recently Pharrell Williams and Disclosure went undercover as a busker in London Monday morning.
Although having lost his voice from performing in front of tens of thousands just hours earlier in Hyde Park he still knocked out some of the classics playing a melody of “Le Freak”, “We Are Family” and plenty more.
Donning an oversized tanned jacket, some plain jeans and white sports shoes he earned just $20 AUD or so from his morning stint and only drew a modest crowd “… until I stared playing dance music” he tweeted – ha!
The US producer has recently revitalised his CHIC project and enlisted a dance duo for one of the early singles.
Watch the short video below of Nile laughing and being his usual charismatic self which earned him enough for “a nice breakfast.”.
