Flume teases new collaboration with Damon Albarn of the Gorillaz

It’s only a few days into 2022 and we’ve already got a mega dubstep reunion with Skream and Benga promising new music and now, Flume teasing his collaboration with Damon Albarn of The Gorillaz.

While surprising, keen fans would actually be across the potential release when Albarn hinted that he’d reached out to the Australian producer back in 2019.

What to expect? Well, to be honest, it looks fucking epic if the short teaser that was uploaded is anything to go by.

The clip, created by Jonathon Zwada features a swathe of Australian native sounds and plants spun out to layers of ambience and electronic zips and blips. That is before Albarn’s classic vocals cut through singing “I thought beyond the exit, there would be palaces,”

With no release date in sight, it looks like we’ll be hitting refresh on the video for some time!
