Mount Kimbie, Logic1000, Prospa and Otik jump on Flume ‘Palaces’ remixes

The benefits of being at the top of the electronic world are on show with Flume enlisting some absolute fire artists for the first part of his ‘Palaces’ remixes.

On remix duties are a very Englisn bunch with Mount Kimbie, Australian ex-pat now London living Logic1000, Bristol-born Otik and top-tier electronic live show act Prospa each doing bits to a handful of tracks from Flumes most recent album.

The opener sees Mount Kimbie make a sticky rework of lead track “Palaces” featuring Damon Albarn of the Gorillaz and Zelooperz. Following that is a heavy rave workout of “Highest Building” by Prospa, then Logic1000 with her on-brand euphoro-rave sounds on “Hollow” feat Emma Louise and lastly Otik’s skittish breaks touch-up of “Go”.

All in all, some pretty special remixes to compliment Flumes blossoming experimental sounds later on in his career. With this being part 1, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for part 2. Who do you want to see?

Flume – Palaces: The Remixes Pt 1 Tracklisting:

  • Palaces (feat. Damon Albarn & ZelooperZ) [Mount Kimbie Die Cuts Remix]
  • Highest Building (feat. Oklou) [Prospa Remix]

Give them a listen as we head into the weekend!
