RUFUS DU SOL confirm surprising details about live album

Not content with hearing that RUFUS DU SOL has a live album on the way? Well, the good news is it’s had an official announcement now and turns out, to be even bigger than we’d originally thought.

To be honest, we were pretty stoked to hear we’d be getting a live album recorded in the Valley Of the Yuccas from famed mystical lands Joshua Tree in California, but honestly, it gets better.

The latest announcement has revealed more juicy details that, in fact, this album will actually be a sensory film dubbed RUFUS DU SOL: Live From Joshua Tree’ that’ll cover 45-minutes of new tunes backed by some jaw-dropping visuals – phwoar!

To be totally frank, it’s not that surprising with the comprehensive live element of the band paving a large part of their way to global stardom, so to capture that forever is a no brainer.

The album is getting a premiere Los Feliz’ historic Vista Theatre on Tuesday, February 18 for those finding themselves in LA otherwise you can dive into the minute-long trailer below.

UPDATE: Sydney and Melbourne get exclusive screenings of the live performance with it also being a bushfire fundraiser, huzzah. Snap up tickets here.
