Young Jonny Hopkins never disappoints and has continued that trend delivering a sublime ‘Mindful Mix’ for BBC ahead of his Australian tour dates as part of the Laneway Festival happening this month and next.

The mix unsurprisingly is stacked with originals from the quaint producer with additional cuts from Bonobo, Bon Iver and more as well as some insight peppered into the Jon Hopkins character about staying mindful including his first memory of music at age two and its impact, the necessity of meditation and his process on finding that track – deep!

He went a step further in an interview last year in which he told Stoney Roads that” I like the idea of trying to create this musical world where everything is fluid and any sound can at any point just change” which certainly sums up the enigmatic producer.
