Uni students and freeloaders rejoice! Reports out of the US are claiming that Spotify is about to upgrade its free user service! Although Spotify is yet to comment, it appears that changes to their user interface could result in select free-user listeners being granted privileges once reserved for the paid subscription.

One of the features expected is the ability for users to play certain playlists on demand – a game changer for anyone who knows the pains of the free membership (#shufflelife). With a new update to the mobile app expected on April 24, keep an eye out to see if any of these rumours come true!
