5 big Bag Raiders tracks that aren’t ‘Shooting Stars’

After becoming a meme sensation and racking up over a whopping 1 million Spotify plays on their track Shooting Stars, Sydney’s Bag Raiders are Aussie Dance music’s biggest legends. Since its release almost a decade ago, Shooting Stars has become a phenomenon and the track that goes off in the dance.

With the Bag Raiders playing alongside The Presets next month and at Sosueme tomorrow night, we decided to put together a little list of 5 big Bag Raiders tracks that aren’t ‘Shooting Stars’!

 5. Gone Away

A melodic form of dance-pop rooted into disco-pop, Gone Away is one of Bag Raider‘s hidden little gems. It’s fun, catchy and carries a super positive vibe to it.

4. Not Over

It’s not over till it’s over… It’s been 6 years and we’re still not over you. With a quirky and funny video clip with a Jake Gyllenhaal look-a-like caveman to go with it, Not Over is a dance-floor worthy anthem that’ll get you moving.

3. Way Back Home

Way Back Home has a nostalgic and laid-back feel to it. A catchy sing-along chorus and bright pads…this one’s for the long car trips.

2. Sunlight

Who doesn’t want a monkey as their best friend? Sunlight has a ‘right in the feels’ theme to it and it’s incredibly vibrant. Definitely one of Bag Raider‘s best video clips too.

1. Snake Charmer

With a lead like that, Snake Charmer is exactly what you think it’s going to sound like. Exotic, foreign elements and a groovy, bouncy beat. Snake Charmer has no vocals but the song speaks for itself.

Is there any you’d like to add to the list?

If you’re keen to see Bag Raiders in the flesh, you can catch the boys spinning tracks at Sosueme – Beach Road Bondi on Wednesday alongside Mickey Kojak and Klue. Doors open at 8pm and entry is free! For all the details, head over to the Facebook event here.
