The Numark PT01 Scratch really takes the cake.
If you haven’t already figured it out, this portable turntable has scratch functionality, meaning you can literally be on the move with this bad boy and use it just like a high-end turntable.
Functionality wise, the PT01 can use batteries to run, has built-in speakers and is equipped with a non-slip cartridge that should allow the needle to hold tight despite being moved or on an angle. So when I said you can be on the move while scratching, I was being serious.
Speaking on the turntable, Chris Roman – Numark’s Senior Project Manager – said “we know that DJs want to take their music outside and not be restricted to where they practice their art. That’s why our portable turntable business is exploding.”
