Elderly couple who partied til 5am write letter of thanks!

Remember that old couple who ventured from Poland to London for a royal bend? Well, they’re back on our radar.

The elderly-bender heads – who were hanging out with resident DJ Husley for the duration of their venture at Fabric Nightclub – have written a letter of to appreciation Husley that was shared on Fabric’s Facebook page, expressing their gratitude for the hospitality they were shown during their visit.

The letter itself it nothing short of heart-warming, with the couple stating “there are no such words to describe the atmosphere and the great fun. These moments sunk in the memory for the rest of life.”

You can read the letter in full below. prepare for feels.

“Dear Sir Jacob Hansen
promoter of Fabric London night club,

I’d like to thank you for warm and cordial welcoming in Fabric London night club on Sunday the 15th of May 2016 (11 p.m.-5 a.m.). That evening we left from Beechfield Road N4, where my niece lives and went from Manor House to King’s Cross. Next, we took another tube line and reached Farringdon Station. Finally, we went on foot to night club Fabric. Before 11 p.m we stood in a queue to the club.

Mr Jacob Hansen thought that we were lost but when he saw our on-line tickets, it was clear that we were there for the party. At 11 p.m. after security check we entered Fabric club. My partner Stanislawa had problems going down the stairs because she was on one crutch. We took the seat and we got free drinks. We kept one free drink coupon from Fabric to remind us of that day. Mr Hansen welcomed us and said ‘That’s great you’re here!’. We asked him for some hot beverage because buffet served only cold drinks. Next moment, he brought us some tea. Later, we had a wonderful time dancing with young Londoners who also welcomed us very warmly, they took some photos with us dancing. One of the fans gave me a present, a cup with a caption ‘Handome Hustler’. Here, I’d like to thank a young 27 year old girl. She was very nice and kind, she took care of us since we entered the club until she left at 3 a.m. saying goodbye.

I’ve got a dream to visit the Fabric and listen to the music since 8 years. In our opinion, Fabric is the best club in London. There are no such words to describe the atmosphere and the great fun. These moments sunk in the memory for the rest of life. It is a huge club, the interior is mysterious, the acoustics is fantastic. The sound is coming from all sides and reaching people on the dancefloor. The club has also got a great security. I read and followed the information and news about Fabric and other clubbing spots such as The Cross, The End, Heaven in the Internet. My dream came true on the 15 th of May 2016. Now It’s great to tell people about my unforgettable experiences in Fabric club.

As a proof of having one free drink in Fabric, I still have a coupon for another one. The promoter of the party, Mr Jacob Hansen, served us tea by himself. He took us to the balcony for VIP where he worked and played music as DJ Jacob Husley. We had a great view on the London clubbers and on the dancefloor. After an hour, we took the lift down and went to the dancefloor where we stayed until 5 a.m. In the end, at 5 a.m. , as promised by Mr Hansen, we were given a taxi on the house. At 5.30 a.m. we were back at Beechfield Rd Nr 4.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of techno but I am a fan of electronic dance music which Fabric used to play. I’d recommend to Mr Hansen to play this kind of music once a week or three times a month, it’s worth trying. All the information included in the article in Evening Standard from 17th May 2016 are true. There are some small slips like the club was opened at 11 p.m, not 10 p.m. and we went by Tube from Manor House, not Watford. In fact we were visiting my brother’s daughter.

Some commentators of the article ‘Elderly Polish couple buy Fabric club night tickets online… and rave until 5 am’ in the Internet can’t believe our story and claim it is PR stunt or that it was set up. They are all wrong. Mr Hansen didn’t know us and our home place, in fact he didn’t know it until now. We have never been to London before, so no one could spoke with us. I don’t speak English, I only know some basic expressions. My niece and her husband weren’t interested in visiting the Fabric club, even though we asked and insisted on going together. We came to London on the 9th of May and came back to Poland on the 23rd of May.”
