An old pirate radio boat has been turned into a nightclub

All about that Seadeck life? Well pack your suitcase full of all your most nautical things, we’re going to Amsterdam!

What once was the home for the Netherlands-based pirate radio station, ‘Radio Veronica’ back in the 60s and 70s, ye old ship is getting converted into Amsterdams schmanciest club named noorderschip.

With no events announced as of yet, get your creative senses ready for the release of this 50-meters-long venue, with a total capacity of 300 that will see the likes of Amsterdams emerging local initiatives and collectives that need a warm welcome and proper showcasing of works in a more intimate location.

The remodeled vessel will contain a terrace, restaurant, daytime event space, Funktion One sound system and a dancefloor which sits underwater at the the boat’s hull that’ll be sending you to dance heaven and beyond.
