‘um..’ have blessed us with their new track ‘whos care’ and in true ‘um..’ fashion, it’s fucking weird, and I love it.

‘whos care’ is a whirlwind of awesome experimental sound design and innovative technique. It’s dense and creative.

I’m extremely interested to see what 2016 holds for LA-based super team ‘um..’. Last year the duo had awesome reception from Nest HQ, whom premiered their track ‘mad recent’, and also featured a mini mix from them (which included Brisbane’s own ‘Dimes’ track ‘Stacked’).

‘um..’ themselves have described their sound as ‘shitty spaghetti’, and ‘ a painter doing some piece where they just throw paint at the board and they mix the colors up a bunch’. I’d probably agree.

I’m very much hoping that a promoter books ‘um..’ for an Aussie tour, I’d kill to see them, but until then, get this in your earholes.
