Jessy Lanza announces sophomore album, ‘Oh No’ to be released in May

Following her debut album, ‘Pull My Hair Back’ Jessy Lanza has announced the release of her second album, ‘Oh No’ due to drop on May 13th on Hyperdub.

She returns with production partner, Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys to create an album that delves into her nerves and neuroses albeit a stark contrast to her recently self assured and confident productions and collaborations with the likes of Caribou, DJ Spinn and Morgan Geist.

The lead single, ">‘It means i love you’ is majestic in it’s addictive ways, a high point in an album that features languid r’n’b grooves coupled with 808s alongside minimal drums and synths. In this recently record RA live session"> Lanza performs ‘It means i love you’ and it is spectacular, strong and mesmerising.
