Burning Man has a few simple rules, no money, no lineups, no nothing but pretty much everything ever happened over the few dusty (and rainy) days in the apocalyptic scenario.

That’s why when whirling electronicist Tycho, who will play this years Falls Festival alongside Tensnake and SBTRKT uploaded his two hour plus ‘Sunrise Set’ from the final day of Burning Man you know your in for a surprising treat!

First impressions? My word… it as outer-worldly as you’d expect for something that begun at 5:40am just prior to the burning of the huge $260,000+ ‘Embrace Sculpture’ with melodic cuts from a strong Warped Records contingent as Boards of Canada blended into Clark and again into Thom Yorke’s Atoms for Peace project.

Tycho was liberal in his own offerings slotting in alongside beats from Photek, Bibio and Ulrich Schanuass. Although starting out as a slumbering slow burn set it does evolve in a more house affair as Psychemagik settles in with a double dose of Leon Vynehall, the Tales of Us remix of Mano Le Tough, Fort Romeau and more.

To celebrate the burn the mix dives back into Washed Out, his own remix of Little Dragon and White Denim in what would have been the ultimate soundtrack for such a fitting moment shared by tens of thousands of people free’d from society (and reality).
