Grime boss Big Narstie samples Coldplay’s ‘Clocks’ on new mixtape

Big Narstie

In a surprising move from the London-based grime lord, Big Narstie has not only reworked an Oasis classic but has also sampled Coldplay’s much-loved 2003 hit ‘Clocks’ for his new mixtape. ‘What’s the Story? Brixton Glory’ is a 9-track monster, with the once-alternative pianist tune – while still maintaining that famous riff – somehow turned into a retching, sub-heavy banger with Narstie’s unshakable charm managing to hold the ambitious project together admirably. It’s certainly unexpected, but the rare beast is also really cool.

You can check out the entire mixtape here, and listen to his Coldplay rendition below. BRraaaap!
