On ‘HD7’, Warp trio Darkstar rework two tracks from their most recent album ‘News from Nowhere’, alongside a dreamy Zomby take on ‘You Don’t Need A Weatherman’. Their latest remix EPs have been named after the dial and postal codes of the Huddersfield and surrounding areas, where the recent psychedelic synth-pop LP was recorded.  While the ‘Cult x Zomby Remix Kollaps’ is the highlight, taking the original to celestial, slinky garage heights, ‘Timeaway’ rides a galumphing rustic speed garage style rhythm that’s been showered with bells and chimes, and ‘Hold Me Down’ marries a driving tech-house rhythm (again with an organic feel to it) with bleeping retro sci-fi sounds and cascading synth washes.
