We’re not one to get carried away on every Daft Punk rumour that surfaces, in fact we’ve blasted a few on our Facebook page for good measure but a recent Songkick addition notes that the French duo could be playing Coachella 2013.

Pulled from our friends over at Music Feeds is a screenshot (above) of the music events site showing that Daft Punk may return from a five year hiatus to play the globally recognised festival April next year.

Usually we’d take this as a grain of salt but concrete evidence of collaborations with Nile Rogers, Paul Williams, Giorgio Moroder a recent 15 minute mix for Saint Yves Lauren, Daft Punk merch, a possible website rebuild and event a recent spot on The Simpsons all points to something special gearing up.

To get you into a proper hyperventilate it also teases that The Rolling Stones, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Phoenix will also play the double weekend event!
