Fortitude Valley has just copped a brand new outdoor venue in The Valley Drive In.
Formerly known as the Brightside Carpark, the venue has been flipped and turned into a new live music location in the popular Brisbane nightlife hub. With BIGSOUND coming up later in the year and the topic of nightlife in Australia seemingly in a constant tug-of-war between good and bad news, this proves to be an exciting announcement out of Brissy.
Speaking directly with The Music, venue booker Cael Johnston says “We’ve found that so many artists and promoters are looking to put on a show that simply cannot be experienced inside a traditional live space and we feel that this venue will give punters an evening that they will never forget”.
