The Chainsmokers have landed in the shit after one-half of the group, Alex Paul made some fairly average comments about China in a promo video.

His comment were in regards to the stereotype of ‘people eating dogs’ in China, but Pall’s comments were not taken too lightly.

The Chainsmokers have since appologized, stating “We originally posted a video to share how much we love China and our fans there,” they wrote. “We would never intentionally do anything to upset our fans and we apologize if we offended anyone.”

They also posted a link to Stop Yulin Forever to encourage people to stop the dog meat festival and if you have a minute you should check it out also.
