After a huge response from his Skin Companion I EP, Flume has released the surprising follow-up, aptly titled Skin Companion EP II.
The 4-track project is another impressive showcase from the production whizz doing what he does best, with an array of broad, eclectic soundscapes taking us on yet another exciting listening experience.
It’s been a stacked 2017 thus far for Flume, who in less than two months scooped up number one spot on the triple j Hottest 100 and just this week won a GRAMMY. A GRAMMY! Flume, the local bedroom producer, won a GRAMMY. What a bloody legend.
This latest project is pretty much as Flume as it gets. He flaunts his experimental approach towards music production paired with some impressive vocal features from the lieks of Glass Animals and Moses Sumney. The standout, however, is the Pusha T feature on the track Enough, which was teased last week.
Without further chit-chat, give Skin Companion EP II a good listen below, and let us know if it beat the first!
