Australia To Get ‘Floating Nightclub’ With 360-Harbour Views

There aren’t too many floating clubs in Australia, actually there are nil unless you consider The Island, which remains anchored in Sydney Harbour expansive enough to claim the throne.

That’ll all change when the ‘Seadeck’ a three-floored floating barge, decked out in complete kit with neon palm trees, DJ booth and tables for easy evenings finally makes it’s way into Sydney’s harbour.

It sounds like it’ll be aimed at European visitors with operators looking to create something truly unique;

‘We are creating an unrivaled 360-degree experience with the iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge as your backdrop and sweeping panoramic views of the Harbour.

The boat is a European summers surplus but will make an Australia debut in February and although landing in Sydney wouldn’t put it our of reach of other cities over time.

A spokesperson for the floating party said there has already been a number of carefully curated lineups set for summer that’ll feature some of the best local and international acts;

‘Music is an integral part of Seadeck’s ethos with an impressive array of some of the biggest international artists in the world alongside carefully curated lineups of Australia’s best local talent already lined up for the summer season.’

Possibly a little too high brow for us, but we won’t know until we find ourselves aboard.
