Norwegian Grammy Award nominees Röyksopp have just released their latest single ‘Running To The Sea’ to the rest of the world after its No.1 chart success in their home country.

Last year the duo released their edition of the ‘Late Night Tales’ compilation series which showcased their diverse influences and impeccable taste, with tracks from Tuxedomoon, Vangelis, John Martyn, This Mortal Coil and Popol Vuh, not to mention a spoken word piece by Benedict Cumberbatch of ‘Dr Who’ and Hollywood movie fame. Now, not only have they had their outstandingly beautiful new song – which features Susanne Sundfør on vocals – remixed by the likes of Pachanga Boys, LNTG, Magnus & Timon amongst others, they’ve also had it done by trance/dubstep pioneer Seven Lions who’s used it as a staple in his sets for quite some time now.

In true fashion he’s turned the already-lovely original into a trance-turned-dubstep masterpiece, certainly being the stand-out for me on the remix EP. Check both out below, they’re out now on Röyksopp’s Dog Triumph label.
