Scottish beat making machine Hudson Mohawke must have recovered from his hangover as he looks to once again grace the Hip-Hop world with his grindy bass-enthused style, after being confirmed as a featuring artist on Drake’s new album ‘Nothing Was The Same’.
Hud-Mo is one of a few big names to be announced on the collaborative list for Drake’s third-coming album this September, including Jay-Z and Drake’s Young Money mentor Lil Wayne.
More candidly is the flow of Drake fans unsure of the connection between the two after he retweeted the Scottish producer leading to a hilarious reaction from his fans questioning just who exactly Hudson Mohawke was and making it all too clear the divide between the two artists (thankfully). Hud-Mo obviously received enough to warrant his own response.
Wtf is a @HudMo and why did @Drake RT him?

Hud-Mo recently featured along side Lunice (as TNGHT – also playing the Listen Out parties) in Kanye West’s sixth studio album ‘Yeezus’, co-producing the huge track Blood On The Leaves, so it’s safe to say whether you’re a Drizzy fan or not, you can be sure Hudson Mohawke will be impressing rather than disappointing.
Drake’s ‘Nothing Was the Same’ was originally set to release September 17 but has been pushed back to the 24th, so for you eager muso’s out there dying to hear it, you’re going to have a few extra sleeps.
For now, check out Kanye West’s Blood On The Leaves featuring HudMo and Lunice (TNGHT) to keep you maintained and news that new Hud-Mo will feature on Flying Lotus’ own radio station on Rockstars GTA V release.
