Neil Jolliffe’s Tempa Records has today released another bomb from Killawatt, this time teaming up with regular collaborator Ipman for their Darkplace / Sur Place 12″. For Killawatt it’s been a busy few months, with another release on Osiris Music as well as his Killa Dinna / Killa Inna Jungle 12″ out on Osiris’ Ruff Cut sub-label just recently. While the A side of TEMPA079 holds up signature rhythmic textures and unwavering dubstep bass pressure from the two, the flip sounds more like Killawatt’s most recent Osiris release; holding up on that techier 4/4 tangent to make it a serious techno rhythm. Best Tempa artwork yet as well in my opinion!
