Sydney scores a legitimate weekend techno party

While Sydney often scores a techno party here and there it has missed having a consistent experience that looks and feels like something you’d find overseas. This is where RAW Gadigal enters as it promises a “techno event one would find in Berlin, Paris or London, while ensuring “it has its own unique local quality”.

It was making its stamp on Oxford Street but has made the move to King Street in Newtown to its one and only club bunker – Tokyo Sing Song.

Those wanting a deep cleanse of legitimate techno will be able to every second Friday of the month, 10pm until 4am until the foreseeable future. Select lineups are looking extremely solid including this one Friday week.

Friday 19th August
Estèe Louder
Kate Doherty
Lucy Cliché
Magda Bytnerowicz
Methodix
Trinity

They’ve also got a maxed-out, 15-hour party across three stages at everyone’s favourite all-night-and-deep-into-morning-spot, The Bridge Hotel come the 20th if that tickles your fancy.
