We’ve come to know that synthesisers and drum machines come in all shapes and sizes so this campaign isn’t all too surprising, but it’s still super cool!
A UK start-up has launched their Kickstarter for Oddball, a pressure sensitive drum machine inside a ball that can be thrown at any surface to make beats. It charges through usb and through an app on your phone allows you manipulate and modify beats using the ever useful bouncy ball. Through the app you can choose between different audio libraries, make loops and add effects and on top of that it’s made to be compatible with the popular DAWs.
