Perth local Ukiyo drops dazzling future bass EP “Fantasy”

Said to be drawing influence from Flume and Chet Faker, Perth artist Ukiyo progresses his music with fine textures, vocal chops and chords that are ready to set the festival scene alight in his new EP Fantasy

The EP starts off with Clicky and sets the tone in its horn chord stabs that any Hermitude fan would be immediately behind. Appropriately followed by track Something Like This where he lifts the game and artfully intertwines bamboo flute in a slightly more down-tempo track exuding warmth. The next three tracks are tastefully instrumental and rhythmically diverse from the uptempo Drive pulling at our ears to the more somber, finely clad Lonesome. Tying up the experience with Go that has you hooked to the layered kick and large chords to assist the angelic vocals supplied by Chymes.

The EP is meant to be listened to in full to get the complete experience of how it all intertwines, so give it a good sitting and the rinsing it deserves.

You can buy/stream the EP here, so check it out below and let us know your thoughts!
