Major international festival cancelled due to poor ticket sales

One of the most F.O.M.O inducing festivals that takes place each year, FYF Fest has today been axed for it’s 2018 instalment.

The Goldenvoice backed festival – the company behind Coachella – took to social media this morning, expressing the unfortunate news that they will be cancelling this year’s festival as they “felt unable to present an experience on par with the expectations of our loyal fans and the Los Angeles music community this year.”

See their post below.

FYF Fest has been running since 2004, and has become one of the top tier annual music events working towards creating diverse, eclectic lineups each year. 2018 was pegged to become a landmark event for FYF Fest, being the first lineup in their 14-years with more female than male acts.

Thankfully, it’s not all bad news for FYF Fest who promise a string of shows in the future. Here’s hoping 2019 sees a strong return!
