Melbourne’s Planète drops stellar two-track ‘Left Right / Something’

After supporting the likes of Jacques Greene and Jon Hopkins, you wouldn’t expect to come out the same artist you were before. Take it from Melbourne producer, Planète, as he releases new two track, ‘Left Right / Something’ with sounds that steer clear from electronica norm.

As the thoughless names suggect, the tracks seem to fuel a draft of what’s anticipated in the mind of Planète for future projects. The second you hit play you’re met with the end of the beginning and dropped off into a progression of interwoven samples that see zero sign of structure, yet somehow make comeplete sense.

Following first well-received releases of the year ‘Alone in Parallel / Faded Memory’, Planète reassures that 2018 is going to be his most prolific yet, setting himself up for an entirely new sound in comparison to older classics like Altair.

Have a listen here or below and hold out til the end…this organised chaos has a damn good ending.
