Ninajirachi dishes up a saucy remix of Kilter’s ‘Waste Time’

Syd-based Unearthed artist Ninajirachi has put her own bouncy spin on the Kilter favourite ‘Waste Time’ ft. Woodes.

Stripping it back and setting her own vibe, the 17 year old shows that she is on a strong path for wonky glory with what her compositional skills. Right off the back of topping the Hype Machine ‘Now’ Charts,  as well as some generous recognition from triple j and Pigeons and Planes, this producer is on the brink of a big breakthrough, and we encourage you to be there for it.

The remix is playful, fun, but at the same time very detailed and nuanced. Ninajirachi puts emphasis on each musical layering and brings out the most out of each instrument that’s floating around in the track’s mix. She traverses from atmospheric mood-setting to bouncy bass-grooves seamlessly throughout the track, showcasing a wide set of abilities at her fingertips. It’s as lush as it is bumping, perfect for a sunny day soundtrack. If you’re an aspiring producer, do yourself a favour and keep tabs on this up-and-coming talent, she’s definitely going to make waves very soon.

Ninajirachi has landed a slot at the Listen Out festival, alongside fellow etcetc artists PNAU and Duke Dumont.  See more on that here and listen to the remix below.
